I am a Sri Lankan journalist with six years of experience as a news reporter and producer for broadcast, online, and print media. My work has also been published by Al Jazeera English, VICE, Mongabay, and The New Arab.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting and Journalism and am currently pursuing a Master's in International Relations. I am also a past recipient of a research fellowship at the Al Jazeera Media Network in Doha.

What drives me in my career is a deep desire to hold those in power to account and contribute to conversations on matters of political and social interest.
